are pursuit Groups?
These groups are smaller groups of 5-12 people meeting together
to pursue our relationship to God and each other. There are
several different kinds of groups, with more coming.
Pursuit
groups aim to connect every person at Rivercity in a life-giving,
spiritually transforming experience of community where they
can know others and be known, grow together in Christ-likeness,
be cared for, healed, challenged, and encouraged.

When?
Pursuit Groups meet in a variety of locations and times throughout
the week.
What
are we working through?
Our
pursuit Group community is just beginning, and in the near future
we aim to add groups to meet the needs of every phase of the spiritual
journey: As we begin, we are working through material called S.A.L.T.
which stands for Seven Areas of Life Training. This material
pursues God through seven major areas of life.

Spiritual Area: Our relationship with God
The Psychological Area: Our mind, will and
emotions
The Social Area: Our relationships with others
The Physical Area: Our bodies
The Financial Area: Our money
The Marital Area: Our Marriage
