Holy Week at River City Church
Holy Week is a meaningful time for us as a church family to slow down, reflect, and walk through the final days of Jesus leading to the resurrection. Whether you’ve been part of River City for years or you’re just exploring faith, there’s a place for you in every part of this week.
Make Space This Week
Throughout Holy Week, we’re creating intentional space for prayer, reflection, and worship. Open Sanctuary (Monday–Thursday)
10am–2pm
The sanctuary will be open for quiet prayer. Come and go as you’re able—before work, on your lunch break, or in between your day. No program, just space to be with God.Maundy Thursday
Thursday | 5:30–7:30pm
We’ll gather to remember the Last Supper—when Jesus shared a final meal with His disciples and demonstrated what it means to love and serve. This is a reflective, come-and-go experience designed to help you slow down and prepare your heart for Good Friday.
Good Friday Friday | 5pm & 6:30pm
Good Friday is where we pause and remember the weight of the cross. These services are simple, intentional, and centered on the sacrifice of Jesus.
We encourage you to attend one of the two identical services as we reflect together.Easter Sunday Sunday
9am & 10:30am
This is the celebration. The resurrection of Jesus changes everything—and we gather to celebrate that together.9am — Family Service No kids ministry available. Families worship together.
10:30am — Full Kids Ministry Available
A great option if you have young children.
After each service, stick around for light refreshments and a photo booth for family Easter pictures. It’s a great moment to celebrate, connect, and capture the day. What to Expect
